Fantastic win at Indy, I don't like the countdown format at all, BUT if it plays into a single car team hands I can live with it. I hope that diving by multi car teams doesn't effect the outcome. His name is Marshall James Sims and he is an angel who went to Heaven on June 6, 2007. We first met when you were running Pro Mod in the "Elenor" (spelling?) car in Houston. We were pitted near you, running Super Comp & Super Gas. You were nice enough to give me full access to you pit. You even GAVE me a T-shirt. I offered to pay, but you refused. The next day one of your staff saw me wearing the shirt and wanted to know how in the world I got it :). Bye the way, you WON! Now that you're running nitro funny car, you seem to be kicking some butt. Mark Oswald is a friend of mine. We live in the same town (Houma, La.). That is one great asset you have on your team. Mike 6/24/07 Your positive attitude in the midst of adversity seems to be contagious. It speaks volumes to your crew and those around you. I can't tell you what it means to Mark to hear from guys like you and Evan after a win or a loss, with words of encouragement. He has saved messages on his phone just so I can hear them. It's easy to be upbeat and positive when things are good but it's in the not so good times when we find what we're made of. I believe God allows us to go thru those times in order to strengthen us. It takes little or no effort to be down but it does take effort on our part to stay positive. You are a great example. Thanks for letting us be a part of your winning team.
